March is National Nutrition Month

Because March is National Nutrition Month, it’s a great time to consider promoting a nutrition challenge in your department. Some challenge ideas include:

  • Bring a healthy lunch from home for a month.
  • Drink 8 glasses of water a day in Q3
  • Eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies daily
  • Quit drinking soda—regular and diet

You could even include an activity challenge such as:

  • Walk a mile a day during lunch
  • Register for a local charity fun run or 5K
  • Schedule at least one walking meeting a week

These would be simple to track and fun celebrate the successes of all employees who participate!
